• Metroid Ravenous Metroid Powers ExplainedSamus can drain enemies in Metroid Ravenous because she is part Metroid: a vaccine made from the baby Metroid's cells saved her life in Metroid Fusion, and that Metroid DNA fully awakened at the end of Metroid Dread, giving her the Metroid Suit. Ravenous calls it her "latent Metroid powers" and "newly awakened Metroid instincts."
• Metroid Ravenous Story and SettingMetroid Ravenous begins with Samus Aran shot down over an unnamed moon, ambushed by five Space Ninjas and thrown into an underground world she must climb out of by feeding on its creatures.
